🗽 Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Citizenship Classes have been cancelled.

However, Ukiah Adult School offers FREE citizenship help for those who would like to apply to become US citizens. If interested, starting August 17, 2020, go to Ukiah Adult School's Room 1, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 3:30pm. Please bring your green card and your facial covering (Covid-19 rules apply). The teacher will give you a rough draft citizenship application (N-400) and instructions packet (available in Spanish too!). USCIS FEE INCREASE UP-DATE *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service fee increase will be effective October 2, 2020. Currently, the total N-400 application fee is:
$725 ($640 (application processing fee) + $85 (biometrics processing fee).
Starting October 2, the total processing fee for the N-400 (application for Citizenship), if submitted by mail, will be: $1,170
If the N-400 is submitted electronically, the total fee will be: $1,160
The $85 biometrics processing fee is included in the total.
USCIS still accepts applications. The current processing time for a N-400 is 12.5 to 17.5 months. Ukiah Adult School's help is free!

Emergency Late Start and Emergency Early Release Schedules

If there is a Public Safety Power Shutoff or another emergency that lasts more than a couple of hours, it may be necessary to cancel school, delay the start time of school, or close school early. To this end, we have created two alternative schedules: an emergency late start schedule and an emergency early release schedule.

PearsonVue Testing

We offer computerized testing every Tuesday from 8:30-4:30. Some of the tests included are GED, CBEST, RICA, CSETs, EMT, CompTIA, and others. Check with your testing sponsor's website for more information.
